AEA PK232MBX
The AEA PK-232MBX was the first radio modem I used. I bought it in 1990 and used it mainly for RTTY and AMTOR while stationed in the Middle East. I also set up a packet BBS in Turkey that the locals could use. I now have another with all of the Timewave upgrades. I currently use it for RTTY, packet for Winlink 2000, and APRS. I wish that AMTOR was still in use; I enjoyed that mode more than even RTTY.
The AEA is now owned by Timewave Technologies Inc.
